SemCAMS will be hosting Community Open Houses in the areas of Dawson Creek, Tumbler Ridge, Elmworth and Grande Prairie. Representatives from SemCAMS will be on hand to discuss construction and procurement, as well as provide updates on regulatory and environmental matters and emergency response planning for the proposed Redwillow Pipeline Project and Northern Pipeline System Expansion Project. SemCAMS seeks CCAA Protection

In light of the filing for bankruptcy protection of our parent company, SemGroup L.P., and certain other related parties in the United States, SemCAMS ULC (“SemCAMS”) found it necessary to file for creditor protection under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (“CCAA”) on July 22, 2008. The purpose of the CCAA is to allow companies to stabilize their business and restructure their financial affairs in an orderly, court-supervised process.

SemCAMS and Grand Banks Energy Successfully Start-Up Tower Creek Pipeline

SemCAMS in association with Grand Banks Energy has successfully started up the Tower Creek Pipeline which began construction last year. The $14.5 million, 18 kilometre project transports sour natural gas from the Grand Banks well and dehydration facility located 45 kilometres northwest of Hinton, AB through the Obed/Gregg Lake pipeline to SemCAMS Kaybob #3 Plant.

SemCAMS to Build Gathering Line to Grand Banks Energy Well

SemCAMS announced today that it has signed an agreement with a consortium of Alberta producers (Grand Banks Energy Corporation, Delphi Energy Corp., Arsenal Energy Inc., among others) where SemCAMS will construct an 8-inch diameter, high-pressure, sour gas pipeline to service a new sour gas discovery in the Tower Creek area, north of Hinton Alberta.
